Heaven knows that I won't be home So do not keep the light on Tempting heart and a moonlit face Won't keep the stray dogs away I told the doctors don't operate Cause they don't know my fate I won't wait to have my fun If you do not get in my way Cause I will get mine today If you don't give mine today Gentle faith in a moonlit night Stars fall down from Grace You told the brethren that you'd be restored And you promised me you'd stay I climbed a mountain with a covert door That says a "Promise Be No More" Earthen pride with a cloven heart I will not be ignored I called the doctor I called the doctor I called the doctor I called I called Restored x 13 And I will be reborn

Darling leave me whole I can make it right Hold me, bring me home Bring me closer tonight Time will leave me whole I can’t make it right Baby lead me home Hold me closer tonight Temper leads to fight Fire burning bright How can you be strong? Nothing makes it right C’mon baby just bide Forgive me baby tonight One will leave me whole Temper leaves me cold Time will make it alright You played the fields all night Sometimes the dude can’t bide God, we’ll make it alright Sometimes the gates denied It’s gonna be on sight Let’s put our beef aside Baby make it right That’s not the way you grow That’s not the way you breathe Oh father just behold You are the one for me Even tho I tried To flip it over again Time will be my revenge Once again Once again It’s gonna be alright Tonight

about

A path walked blindly with integrity can invoke a fear like no other, humiliation for expressing into the great unknown, moving forward and channeling pain back into art & committing more deeply to what's inside so the years that abuse in an industry that denies the heart doesn't win. Continuing to exist as a form of revenge.

Written during lockdown after I set aside my previous works I was preparing mix & went deeper into producing & engineering myself with the help of Women's Audio Mission ( womensaudiomission.org ) support & SoundGirls ( Soundgirls.org ) to be able express my inner world outside of myself & begins healing. It's the beginning.
